cLaunch abandonment (simulation only or ‘talk-through’)
dCorrect positioning during straight flight and turns
eOut of position and recovery
fCorrect release from tow
gLook-out and airmanship through whole launch phase
SECTION 2 (C) SELF-LAUNCH (powered sailplanes only)
aATC compliance (if applicable)
bAerodrome departure procedures
cInitial roll and take-off climb
dLook-out and airmanship during the whole take-off

cTurning on to selected headings visually and with use of compass
dFlight at high angle of attack (critically low air speed)
eClean stall and recovery
fSpin avoidance and recovery
