- (a) System alerts shall be so designed and located as to ensure rapid recognition of failures. - (b) The information display and system alerts shall not distract the pilot making the take-off or significantly degrade forward view.

ED Decision 2022/007/R

- (a) The system should be so designed that wherever practicable, a failure will cause the immediate removal of incorrect guidance information from view. - (b) If failure indications are provided during take-off, these should not be such as to distract the pilot (e.g. a persistent flashing light) when controlling the aeroplane by visual reference.
