4.2.5 Recommended implementation and transition steps

It is likely that multiple mode of operation will be implemented as part of an extension to an already existing single mode of operation implementation. This would facilitate the transition from a onetoone operating method to a one-to-many operating method by first gaining operational experience of remote aerodrome ATS in a single mode of operation set-up. Therefore, such an approach is recommended. However, depending on the local safety assessment, this may not be a prerequisite for implementation.
