7.2.2Aerodrome safeguarding

In the case of remote aerodrome ATS, although no additional impacts on aerodrome safeguarding procedures (as prescribed by ADR.OPS.B.075 of Regulation 139/2014 [7]) is in general anticipated, the aerodrome operator should ensure that: the risk of sources of non-visible radiation, or the presence of moving (or fixed) objects, or any other activity, which may interfere with, or adversely affect, the performance of applicable facilities, installations and equipment enabling and supporting the remote aerodrome ATS is assessed and mitigated; appropriate security procedures are established and implemented for the protection of such facilities, installations and equipment; appropriate security and/or preventive actions according to cyberthreats during the transition of aeronautical data and information are in place (including the provision of redundancy measures); only authorised people have access to the facility and/or related equipment and data.
