CS-E 920 Over-temperature Test

(See AMC E 920) For Engines with 30-Second and 2-Minute OEI Power ratings, the Engine must be run for a period of 4 minutes at the maximum power-on rotor speed with the turbine entry gas temperature at least 19°C higher than the 30-Second OEI Power rating operating temperature limit. Following this test, the turbine assembly may exhibit distress beyond the limits for an over-temperature condition provided the Engine is shown by analysis or test or both to maintain the integrity of the turbine assembly.
