TAXI CLEARANCE Where standard taxi routes have not been published, the air traffic controller should, whenever possible, describe a taxi route, for example, by use of taxiway and runway designators or alternative identifiers. Other relevant information, such as an aircraft to follow or give way to, should also be provided to a taxiing aircraft.
