GM1 ADR-DSN.D.310Taxiway Strip

A taxiway strip should be so prepared or constructed as to minimise hazards arising from differences in load bearing capacity to aeroplanes which the taxiway is intended to serve in the event of an aeroplane accidentally running off the taxiway. Guidance on characteristics of taxiway strips is given in ICAO Doc 9157, Aerodrome Design Manual, Part 2, Taxiways, Aprons and Holding Bays.
