Usability factor
EASA defines “Usability factor” in one regulation. The wording below is reproduced verbatim from the EASA Easy Access Rules, with a link to the paragraph it comes from.
‘Usability factor’ means the percentage of time during which the use of a runway or system of runways is not restricted because of the crosswind component.
