Threat
EASA defines “Threat” in 2 regulations, worded for each regulation's scope. The wording below is reproduced verbatim from the EASA Easy Access Rules, with a link to the paragraph it comes from.
"Threat" means events or errors which occur beyond the influence of the flight crew, increase operational complexity and which must be managed to maintain the margin of safety.
‘threat’ means a potential violation of information security which exists when there is an entity, circumstance, action or event that could cause harm;
