EASA defines “specific category” in one regulation. The wording below is reproduced verbatim from the EASA Easy Access Rules, with a link to the paragraph it comes from.

‘specific’ category means a category of UAS operations that is defined in Article 5 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947;
