Powered sailplane
EASA defines “Powered sailplane” in one regulation. The wording below is reproduced verbatim from the EASA Easy Access Rules, with a link to the paragraph it comes from.
"Powered sailplane" means a sailplane equipped with one or more engines that has, with engines inoperative, the characteristics of a sailplane.
