Frangible object
EASA defines “Frangible object” in one regulation. The wording below is reproduced verbatim from the EASA Easy Access Rules, with a link to the paragraph it comes from.
‘Frangible object’ means an object of low mass designed to break, distort or yield on impact so as to present the minimum hazard to aircraft.
