Flight instructor (FI)
EASA defines “Flight instructor (FI)” in one regulation. The wording below is reproduced verbatim from the EASA Easy Access Rules, with a link to the paragraph it comes from.
‘Flight instructor (FI)’ means an instructor with the privileges to provide training in an aircraft in accordance with Subpart J of Annex I (Part-FCL) to this Regulation, Subpart FI of Annex III (PartBFCL) to Regulation (EU) 2018/395, or Subpart FI of Annex III (Part-SFCL) to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/1976;
