aero-medical assessment

EASA defines “aero-medical assessment” in 2 regulations, worded for each regulation's scope. The wording below is reproduced verbatim from the EASA Easy Access Rules, with a link to the paragraph it comes from.

‘aero-medical assessment’ means the conclusion on the medical fitness of an applicant based on the evaluation of the applicant as required in this Annex (Part-MED) and further examinations and medical tests as clinically indicated;

‘Aero-medical assessment’ means the conclusion on the medical fitness of an applicant based on the evaluation of the applicant's medical history and aero-medical examinations as required in this Part and further examinations and medical tests as necessary;
